PACIFIC SECURITY – SECURITY SERVICES
Security Officer positions offer an excellent foundation for individuals aspiring to work in the law enforcement field. Since we provide indoor and outdoor guard service 24 hours a day throughout the state of Washington, we have a range of opportunities to fit individual employment goals.
Working in the security field offers a unique opportunity to learn public relations, de-escalation techniques, customer service, and emergency management skills. Our security officers provide a variety of clients with specific needs offering experience in serving the public under an array of circumstances. We establish foundational training for our new employees in addition to supplemental training opportunities to enhance our officer’s skillset and career trajectories.
The Washington State Department of Licensing requires specific licensing protocol including full training, testing, extensive background check, fingerprinting, and a declaration of criminal history. There is an initial $120 cost for the Security Guard license and fingerprinting. Officers with current Washington State Security Guard licenses pay a $25 transfer fee. To assist our new employees with this financial obligation, we split the cost to be deducted in the first two paychecks, relieving the initial financial burden of licensing for their new position.
